Some, maybe most people, in town don’t know about Sanford Mills.
They’re surprised to find out there is a condo complex on the river Charles in Medway. The Sanford Mills Complex issituated right at the water falls that can be seen from Sanford St (Lincoln St as it crosses the river into Franklin).
The Sanford Mills condo complex has been around since the early 90′s as a real estate complex. Prior to that it was vacant for a while, but was once a thriving mill. In fact one of the prior owners whose home I sold in the past few years tells me she remembered when her Grandfather worked there and she was so excited to have one of the units in the building where he was a supervisor. Her unit like some others hat an UNBELIEVABLE view of the water
fall over the dam. 
The complex currently is owner occupied for the most part. There are a few rentals (I think less than 6 of the 69 units that make up Sanford Mills). The units vary significantly in layout (to make good use of the complex layout) but are similar in that they all have at least 1.5 baths and 1 to 2 bedrooms. Some are multi level – some are on the same level. Most, if not all have very unique architectural touches which include wide board ceilings, brick walls and almost floor to ceiling windows. Just about all include in unit laundry facilities. Each unit has two deeded parking spaces, one close to the complex entrance, the other may be a few steps away. Visitor parking is also available. Condo docs note small pets are ok. Units vary in size from approximately 700 to 1200 sq ft. There may be one or two a bit smaller and a bit larger. Remember layout can vary significantly!
Just about everyone living there speaks highly of Sanford Mills living. There are book clubs and other get together and people are friendly and talk about feeling safe in the complex.
For those that have a view of the falls, there is no other complex that can compare. The river takes on such different looks as the seasons change.If you’re interested in considering a purchase of a Sanford Mills Unit, Call me.
